| Squires attend Knights in armored
combat. Lords and Ladies dally beside the tournament field creating
beautiful art and music. The laughter of costumed children fills the
air. We gather for feasts by candlelight, and finish the evening with
music and dance. Whether we are fighting, feasting, dancing, singing,
or practicing a variety of pre-17th century arts, we have a great time.

| The Canton of Summergate is a canton of the Barony of Calafia in the Kingdom of Caid, a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
Summergate is located in the Northern reaches of San Diego County in Southern
California, USA. Our geographic region covers from the cities of Poway and
Del Mar in the south, north to Orange County. The Canton also provides support
to the Stronghold (a chapter on the military base of Camp Pendleton), and
to the College of St. Ursula (UC San Marcos) when there are active members
in those locations. |
